October 30-31: Where did THAT come from

At 2:30am on October 30th I got sick. I’d been warned I might get sick because the kids had been spitting up a lot earlier in the week.  Well, it hit me hard…and I was grateful I wasn’t more than a dozen steps from the bathroom.  Yuk!
Although whatever invaded my gastric track only lasted 48 [...]

October 29th: But I can’t speak Spanish!

This morning I needed to drive in to Salt Lake to make a car exchange with Meggan.  She and Alex were both working all day and they’d lined up someone to take care of Bucky and Sadie.  When I stopped to put some gas in the car I noticed that there was part of a [...]

October 23rd: Dracula in Denver

Flew into Denver today to catch a matinee of  Bram Stoker’s DRACULA at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. My son Scott is playing a cool part in the play and I was excited to see him slaying vampires and speaking in the requisite period British accent.  Lynne and her best friend from high [...]

October 22nd: Atlanta

The flight to Atlanta was great and when the plane touched down I had the M2B:) unexpected joy of being merely a short train ride away from the hotel and convention center where I’d be performing tonight.  I was excited to return to Atlanta for Time Out For Women but my mood was elevated  (by [...]

October 21st: How Ya’ Doin’?

I don’t know exactly why this happens, but it happens to me every couple of weeks.  I get this feeling I need to call someone I know and the feeling won’t let go until I make the call.   I used to think that the one I called probably needed a call that day and [...]
