June 27th: Waffles

After a delicious experiment for dinner tonight, I’m thinking of starting a new Sunday Night Tradition.  Waffles!!!  Doesn’t that sound like a guaranteed M2B:) event?  Invite loved ones, soon to be loved ones, or hope we can become loved ones,  over for waffles.  Each week we could try different toppings.  Maybe…oh, I like this idea, we could expand the circle of love by having a SKYPE NIGHT with waffles. We’ve got family and friends all over the world, and through technology and a waffle iron we could end the weekend with a fork full of happiness.

Yea, waffles!  Got any fave flavors of toppings, please share.   Be bold, yet naive.  This is gonna be fun.

My friends family does waffle night every Sunday afternoon after church. They’ve been doing it for over 15 years and it’s a huge hit.

Waffles are comfort food in our house. A day with a lousy exam, a day where the boss yelled, a day where the kids in class were awful, or a day that is worth sharing because of hope is Waffle Day.
Strawberries, bumble berries, raspberries are favorites in our home….topped of course with chocolate whipping cream. And as you are likely aware, when the heart needs to be lifted there is no sugar count nor calories in food. It’s a true fact. Just ask my hips!
