June 21st: Summer, at last

First day of summer seems more like first day of spring, but I’ll take it.   Got the motorhome hooked up to the pop-up trailer sittin’ out in front of my office window as a reminder that it’s time to do those things you’re supposed to do in the summer time.   Right now, as I sit staring at the MB Cruiser (soon to be renamed the M2B:) Cruiser when I can afford the paint job) I am filled with anticipatory bursts of happiness.  In this very moment I’m smiling at what  adventures await me.   I’m making plans right now, with the other half of my brain that doesn’t want to be sitting at this computer.  I can’t do two things at once.  It’s making me dizzy.  I say farewell from this joyous reality to slip into my fantasy world where serious happiness-planning is required.  Adieu. I shall return tomorrow loaded with ie cold Kool Aid, rootbeer popsicles and watermelon.

It’s SUMMER TIME, SUMMER TIME, SUM, SUM, SUMMER TIME!!!!!

Yep, it finally is, isn’t it? Even I, curmudgeon supreme, can feel it. I’ll feel it more tomorrow. If I wake up in time for my world to right itself.
