March 8th: At last, something happened.

By last week I’d just about given up hope.  I told Lynne if something didn’t happen soon, I was done!  Finished!  Over it! Like forever!!!  My investment had been betrayed. It just wasn’t worth it to me; the waiting, the anticipation, the build up only to be let down by stupid distractions and red herrings. What am I talking about?  Come on,  this is Monday night March 8th and you know what I’m talkin’ about.  Oh yeah.  You were feeling it to. If something GREAT doesn’t happen between 2am and 3am at various locations in Greater New York  you were going to join me in giving the “toodle-oo” to Jack Bauer.

But wait!!!!  Redemption!!! “24″ snatched victory from the jaws of defeat!!! Tonight’s episode brought me back into the fold.  SOMETHING HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!  And the TRAILER for NEXT WEEK’S EPISODE totally satisfied my inner cliff hanger.

This was a glorious M2B:) moment, and not just because something happened on the show.  You have to understand: Jack got vital information that will probably save tens of thousands of lives in New York City.

Funny. My “something happened” has more to do with the fact that they actually poured the slab. That one of the twenty-eleven things I’ve been on the brink of for two years or more crossed the boundary of hope and theory and actually become material. I will breathe when I hold Murphy in my arms. When Gin has moved to her real home. When Cam finds out about his house, and Char hers. When I know where they all are and how many of them there really might be. But that’s differing happiness, and I think I am breaking the rules here. YAY THE SLAB!!

My 2B:) moment was Kristen coming to my rescue when my truck broke down and she let me borrow hers for the day……Seriously……what would I do without Kristen…….

Without her truck…….I couldn’t get to the doctor……..and therfor I wouldn’t get my weekly shot in my bahootie! Life is good……..

Guess I better go and put the spark plugs back in my truck since that didn’t work out as I’d planned…….I kid! About the spark plugs part……the rest is all true! Oh! And cool band-aids. They really do take the sting away…..if they’re cool enough…….like…….Wiley Coyote!
