Every night near the end of The Forgotten Carols I get to play my guitar and sing the anthem for the new book/CD: Mission To Be Happy. And you know what? It makes me happy!!! The tune’s fun and the arrangement brings a smile, but the best part is feeling the energy of the audience as they laugh and clap and sing along. It’s time, isn’t it, for all of us to find a way to make our life’s mission to be authentically, genuinely happy. Normally I get so sad when the holidays are over and I’ve said goodbye to all my Forgotten Carols family and friends. But I’ve got to tell you, I’m really looking forward to January this year when MY Mission To Be Happy kicks off full time. While I’m searching for the “unexpected joys” that 2010 will bring, I’m hoping to hear from you…or, if you’re from the south, I want to hear from y’all. Gotta run to the show tonight. Happy Day!. Oh, and if you want to check out the joy The Forgotten Carols Tour is bringing me, go to our Facebook Fan Page for The Forgotten Carols.

Michael: Thank YOU!!! I have heard about the forgotten carols for years and years…and NEVER participated. Until now. I attended 12-14-09. What a joy. I received personal answers to some long sought out questions that I’ve been pondering for two years! I also know that if I had attended your program any time prior to this point in my life…it would have been marvelous, but I would have never been in a place to receive the much needed answers to questions now that will enable me to continue through the latter “phase” of my life (I’m 48)…and share happiness with others along the way only because I’m learning to be happy with ME!!! It’s no longer selfish to say that!!! I have purchased 10 copies of your M2Bhappy! I am sharing them with my family (and some extended family as we seek to better understand one another) and we are setting out for 2010 on THAT mission! I have two children (my only two) that returned from missions in the last 12 months. So they will be WELL versed in the lingo! and I think that in itself will help them understand where they need to go with being happy! I look forward to your “zone conferences” and speaking (or not speaking but doing) in the language of JOY!!! Thank you, Thank you and I look forward to participating in a community of other on our M2Bhappy!!
I was missing the forgotten carols in Seattle this year and decided to pop in my DVD. First thanks to Scott for the wonderful new version, and super direction. Second, thanks to Lynne for singing. She may not be professional, but she her voice is clear and true. I love it! Finally, thanks for the new book. After a rough couple of months in and out of hospitols and doctors offices I am finally becoming whole again. I have joy in listening to “Pills”, “You Don’t Know” (my new theme song), and “With Paul and John” (I truly know how to turn it up and sing along, especailly if it is a Michael McLean song).
I hope to meet many happy bloggers on this new website. Happy Holidays to all of you!

I really don’t belong here. Don’t know where I’m headed and right now not heading down the right path so to speak. Thanks Michael for all your inspiration and hard work. Good luck to you in your M2B:-)
Everyone belongs here.
